While it’s not impossible, it’s very difficult to protect yourself as a landlord after you get yourself in a sticky situation with a tenant who has already signed on the dotted line and been in your home for even just a short amount of time.
The best way you can protect yourself as a landlord is to have the right contract from the very start.
Here at AAOL, we offer a multitude of different ways you can protect yourself as a landlord, but where we excel is where it’s most important: contracts.
Since having an iron-clad contract that protects you as the landlord is the most important tool you can have in your kit as a landlord, that’s where we concentrate our efforts in protecting you, the hard-working, everyday American who managed to scrape enough funds together and figure out just the right investment to suit your needs.
You Get What You Pay For, but When You Pool Resources, You Get More Value
Here at AAOL, we grew tired of seeing landlords struggle, especially when they had single units they were renting out our one or two homes and couldn’t afford to pay through-the-roof pricing for quality education, contracts, and other resources by professionals that were worth the price.
The way we see it: if we could pool together resources, small upfront costs that add up, we could use those pooled resources to attain quality resources that could then be dispersed among all our members.
So everybody gets the good stuff, without the enormous price tag.
After all, while each landlord has a slightly unique situation, for the most part, we’re looking for the same things in contracts and resources: protection from the worst happening. And that common goal is what we strive to accomplish for landlords at fair pricing.
These resources would cost an arm and a leg were you to try to get them on your own, but because we pool together resources to get quality contracts, courses, and other educational and legislative protections, it is cheaper for every landlord involved.
Why Your Support Matters
We’re stronger when we pool together, and thus, the more members AAOL has, the more benefits we can give to our members.
Thinking about it from the perspective of resources alone: the more landlords sign up and take part in our membership, the more money we have to spend on additional resources that help protect each and every one of our individual members.
